an unfortunate turn of events.

If I were to rank the days of my life in which I have experienced the most excruciating pain into worst to best, this day, (or yesterday...since it's 12:43 in the morning), would be around second worst. I'm aware that that sentence really didn't make any sense but I'm on medication so we'll just go with it & move on. Basically, I'm sick. Very sick. The kind of sick where you just have to rock back and forth and bite your tongue and cry. Which is exactly what I did while waiting in the doctor's office for over an hour, in some of the worst pain of my life. Surrounded by dead flowers, gossip filled magazines, and old people. The old people were nice though. Everything else stank. And when I finally did see a doctor, after x-rays, and pills, and talking, and the completely embarrassing removal of clothes, and the cold hands, and the pee in a cup, and the waiting, and the questions, and the wondering if it would ever end, we finally got some results. Results meaning "We're still not sure what's wrong but here's some pain medication we'll shoot into your butt to help." Yep. They shot my tush. So instead of just having excruciating pain, I now had excruciating pain AND my rear end was throbbing. Lovely. So, how ever many hours later, I'm just sitting in bed writing it all down.
Looking at this lovely sign.

My older sister made it for me. She's home from college. She's a gem.
So, here's to hoping I start to feel better soon. Being summer and all, it's a shame to not be outside frolicking in the 100 degree weather. I have things to do, places to be. But first, if my butt would stop hurting...
