i have an fierce love for books.
i find libraries & book stores enchanting beyond belief.
ever since i could read, i've loved books.
when i was in the first grade, i checked out 30 books at once. the librarian laughed at me and asked what i planned to do with all the books. i raised my little eyebrow and said "read them of course, isn't that what people do with books?"
when we moved across the country when i was 13, i told my mother either the books came, or i didn't.
& when i volunteered at the library & the librarian told me to put some books back in their shelves, i ended up sitting in the middle of an isle and reading them instead.
honestly.
there is something so captivating about the written word.
i happen to be writing a book.
i've been writing it for a while.
it's sort of a story of my life i suppose.
but it's far too personal to ever share with anyone.
i say too many things, too honestly, about too many people.
all the same, i'm alright with no one reading it.
i'm living a life worth writing down.
i'm writing a book that i would want to read.
& i'm writing from a point of view that no being in the history of ever has ever written from.
so i'd say that's a pretty successful deal.
all my love.

the written word wins everytime.
